Nation News: "AT 2:05 P.M. YESTERDAY the ruling Democratic Labour Party (DLP) increased its numbers in the House of Assembly when Hamilton Lashley moved from being an Independent member, to the Government's benches.
The much anticipated crossing of the floor gives the DLP 21 of the 30 seats with the remaining nine for the Barbados Labour Party. Lashley had contested the St Michael South-East seat in the January 2008 general election on a BLP ticket."
