Reid, a resident of Barbican Road in St Andrew, narrowly escaped death in the tragedy last Thursday afternoon in which Orlando Bennett, 27, and Kirk 'Corner Stone' Vernon, 32 were killed when the dirt wall of the 20-foot-deep trench in which they were working to lay sewer pipes on behalf of the National Water Commission (NWC) suddenly collapsed.
