Selma Grazette-Jones, of Husbands Gardens, St James, was killed after she was struck by a car while walking this morning near the Husbands Main Road/Husbands Crescent junction.
Preliminary police reports said Grazettes-Jones was in her 50’s while the driver of the car was a 19 year old St James resident."

This was a sense lost of life. Barbados needs stiffer penalties for drunk drivers and to implement basic procedures to test drunk drivers, like the breathalyzer. Barbados claims to be the no. 1 developing nation, but it lags behind other third world countries when it comes to penalties and testing of drunk drivers.
