'Psychopaths' - beheaders have severe personality disorders PROFESSOR of Psychiatry in the Department of Community Health and Psychiatry at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Dr Fred Hickling says that recent beheadings in the country are the work of psychopaths who will kill again without a second thought.
"Our research in this country indicates that 20 per cent of all murderers in Jamaica have severe psychopathic personality disorders," Dr Hickling told persons at the weekly luncheon meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Kingston at the Wyndam Kingston Hotel on Tuesday.
