Trinidad and Tobago's Newsday  "GRIEVING relatives of 21-year-old murder victim Shinelle Nelson are appealing to police to find parts of her body which were missing, so that she can have a proper burial which would bring a measure of closure for relatives on this tragedy. On Wednesday, Nelson’s body was found floating in the Guayamare River minus its head, arms and feet. An autopsy revealed that a sharp instrument, possibly a cutlass, was used to sever Nelson’s head and her limbs. Prior to the autopsy, police believed that caimans may have bitten off and eaten Nelson’s missing body parts"

 Antigua Observer Newspaper : "St. John’s Antigua- A teenager who said he felt that he was about to be violated by a Cuban doctor whose life he took has been jailed for six years. Zenroy Denzil Howell was charged with the murder of Dr Nivaldo Quintana but pleaded guilty to the lesser count of manslaughter."

MURDER ON PARTRIDGE

Amandala Gary Bowen, 33, was shot multiple times on Partridge Street at about 8:20 this morning, a short distance from its junction with Banak Street, while riding his bicycle towards his family home on Morning Glory Street, near the Sadie Vernon High School. A gunman rode up on a bicycle behind him and after a short exchange of words fired three shots at Bowen, hitting him into the back of the head, causing him to fall off his bicycle.
