Antigua Sun Police are investigating the murder of Garfield Warner, popularly known as “Lion.”
He was shot as he arrived at his home, a small wooden structure, located in the interior of Horsford Hill, overlooking Falmouth and English Harbours.
According to reports, the incident took place around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, but was not reported at the time of the shooting.
It appears that Warner’s assailant was lying in wait for him.
Reports are that, he did not go immediately into the house but went to the northern side of the structure, possibly to urinate, when he bumped into his assailant.
