Slain Patentia Secondary School lad laid to rest

Kaieteur News: "Residents of Patentia, a West Bank Demerara community, were in a very solemn mood yesterday as one of its youngest members who was killed under questionable circumstances was laid to rest.
That victim was 16-year-old Kelvin Anthony Fraser who was shot and killed by a police rank one week ago.
Upon entering the Patentia, West Bank Demerara village, each lamp post was draped with black flags bearing the name ‘Kello”.
As the hearse arrived in the community it made its first stop at the school which Fraser last attended and where he spent his last moments.
At the Patentia Secondary School, dozens of students and teachers from other schools turned out to view his remains. Some of his fellow students broke into tears as they filed past his casket. The teen’s father sat beside him with an umbrella shading him from the sun.
Then it was off to his residence where hundreds gathered to bid their final goodbye.
At the teen’s home, close relatives tried to console each other as they wept bitterly at the sight of his remains in a casket."
