JFK Plot Defendant Allegedly Proposed Rat Diversion

BusinessWeek: "July 13 (Bloomberg) -- An ex-airline employee on trial for plotting to blow up fuel lines and tanks at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport considered releasing rats to divert the attention of security personnel, a witness testified.

Steven Francis, a government informant who infiltrated the group accused of plotting the attack, said that’s what Russell Defreitas meant in a recorded conversation played today for a jury in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn, New York.
