Hurricane Earl unearths history centuries old human bones....

Antigua Observer Newspaper: "If there was any good to come from Hurricane Earl it may have been the work of the pounding waves on Antigua’s south coast beaches which led to the unearthing of centuries old human bones.
Archaeologist Reginald Murphy says that such a discover is not unusual and it is valuable for research into early inhabitants of the island.
“I always use them as a teaching opportunity. We found quite a few Arawak burials…not many plantation slave burials. We haven’t done any proper estimation as yet but we collect what does come out in storm events,” said Murphy."
