Bermuda Sun.."FRIDAY, SEPT. 17, 10am: A ‘hurricane watch’ is now in place for Bermuda with a direct hit from Igor expected early Monday morning.
The massive storm is advancing slowly towards the island and is expected to be a Category 2 or Category 3 hurricane when it makes landfall.
As of the 9am forecast today, the eye of the storm is expected to pass within 11 nautical miles (13 miles) of Bermuda at 2am on Monday.
