Neesa’s family wants DNA tests for positive ID

Kaieteur News: "Relatives of slain Queen’s College student Neesa Lalita Gopaul are pleading with the police to have DNA tests conducted on her remains to ensure that she is positively identified. DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA.
Two of Neesa’s sisters, who came in from overseas for her funeral, expressed concern that the case could go in favour of the two accused if the state fails to prove beyond a doubt that the remains are Neesa’s."
