Kaieteur News: "A speeding driver was killed just before midnight last night and his wife injured after the car they were in slammed headlong into a utility pole on the east Bank Demerara public road near Little Diamond.
The driver, identified as Bopendra Narine, a barber of Grove Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara, died at around 23:30 hrs at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, despite valiant efforts by medical staff to save him.
