The policeman was held with another man in Jamaica, while several other people were arrested in Canada, a release from the Jamaica Constabulary Force said last night. The name and rank of the policeman is being withheld.
The JCF said the arrests follow a nine month coordinated international operation between investigators from the Anti-Corruption Branch, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Toronto Airport Drug Enforcement Unit, the Peel Regional Police, the Toronto Police Service and Canada Border Services Agency."
