Guyanese Former MP Gets Life In Terrorist Plot

British Caribbean "CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Sat. Dec. 18, 2010: A former Guyanese parliamentarian has been sentenced to life in prison for a terror plot to detonate the fuel system under John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Abdul Kadir along with former airline cargo worker Russell Defreitas and Abdel Nur are`believed their attack would cause extensive damage to the airport and to the New York economy, as well as the loss of numerous lives,` the Justice Department said after the sentencing in Brooklyn federal court."
