Murder toll climbs to 126

Trinidad and Tobago's Newsday: "HOURS after Police Commissioner Dwayne Gibbs boasted that serious crime, especially homicides, was down for the first-quarter of this year two murders — one in Laventille and the other in El Socorro — sent the year’s murder toll to 126.

In the Morvant incident, a 15-year-old Form Two student of the Russell Latapy Secondary School in Morvant, was shot seven times by gunmen on Wednesday night in John John, Laventille."
