On Monday evening it was announced that the St. Lucia Labour Party was victorious- winning by three seats. After the 2006 elections- although defeated the St. Lucia Labour Party managed to gain six seats increasing it by four seats to gain the victory. The Prime Minister Elect sought to thank all those affiliated in his party's victory.
