Web Posted - Fri Aug 11 2006
The disruption of a terrorist plot to blow up several planes bound for the United States (US) yesterday, led to delays at airports and new security requirements for passengers around the globe, including Barbados Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA).
Flights to and from the US and the United Kingdom (UK) suffered delays, however, Marketing and Communications Manager for GAIA, Leslie St. John, said yesterday that there were no cancellations, but the new security requirements would impact the speed of processing passengers. "
