The new security measures which were swiftly implemented at the V.C. Bird International Airport in response to the foiled transatlantic bomb plot has seen some changes.
In a press release yesterday, Aerodrome Superintendent, Leon Smith, revealed that due to the makeup of the departure lounge at the V.C. Bird International Airport, the security checks of prohibited items must be done by the air carriers that fly into the United States and its territories at the departure gate immediately before boarding the air carriers."
