It is quite interesting to see the level of enthusiasm and excitement being generated now in countries who have always seem to pay lip service to the importance of sport.
It is quite ironic to see the level of underdevelopment of cricket venues in islands, which once boasted of having the strongest cricket team in the world for an unbroken spell of over ten years.
I remember an old proverb that says it is better to be late than never. I hope that remains true in this case also.
