President Bharrat Jagdeo is expected to be easily returned to office, but his ruling People's Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) will not have an overall majority of seats in the Parliament, according to the latest opinion poll published here yesterday.
The poll by the North American Caribbean Teachers Association (NACTA) and published in the privately-owned Stabroek newspaper, showed that the PPP/C and the newly formed Alliance For Change (AFC) parties have made gains, while the main opposition People's National Congress Reform-One Guyana(PNCR-1G) has lost ground since the last poll was conducted two weeks ago. "
