THE STANFORD 20/20 TOURNAMENT has claimed its first casualty.
Clive Lloyd, the outstanding former West Indies captain, has resigned from the Stanford 20/20 board of directors.
The DAILY NATION understands that Lloyd was asked to resign in the aftermath of a Press conference Monday when he appeared to be contradicting remarks by Allen Stanford, the Texan billionaire who was the creator and financier of the tournament. "
