The Barbados Advocate |SRU receives almost US$250 000 to detect tsunamis

The Barbados Advocate The Seismic Research Unit (SRU) of the University of the West Indies has secured a US$249 680 grant that would go a long way to enhance its capacity to detect, monitor and provide early warning of tsunamis and related geologic hazards in the Caribbean region.
