Advocate| Government addressing potential World Cup visitor shortfalls

Advocate: "IN the wake of low hotel occupancy and smaller audiences than anticipated in the countries that have so far hosted ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 matches, Barbados will make an all-out effort to salvage the local leg of the event this month.
Speaking at a St. Michael West branch meeting at the St. Leonard's Boys Secondary School, Tourism Minister, Noel Lynch, said a number of factors had contributed to the shortfall in projected visitor arrivals, all of which were beyond the control of governments in the region"
