SUN St.Kitts & Nevis: "Government has decided to relieve the National Housing Corporation (NHC) of the burden of having to distribute land to potential property owners.
This was disclosed as Cabinet announced plans to establish a new land sales office for the special land distribution initiative expected to be implemented early next month.
Under the new scheme, 5,000 plots of land in 24 different locations around St. Kitts have been earmarked to be distributed to nationals as young as 18 years. The lots will have a minimum size of 4,000 square feet in residential projects that will have roads, electricity, water and other important infrastructure installed."
