Fire officers brace themselves for discovery of bodies

Advocate: "By four o'clock yesterday afternoon, fire officers were preparing to instigate the main recovery effort to recover the five bodies from the Brittons Cross Road tragedy. Dressed in their uniform, prepping equipment and preparing to have tetanus shots, all that remained was to gear up emotionally for a task which bears tremendous weight."
