Trinidad and Tobago's Newsday"HAZEL MANNING the Local Government Minister and wife of Prime Minister Patrick Manning, yesterday called for a woman Prime Minister and for a woman President as she implored women all over this country to get involved in the upper echelons of politics.
“It is time for women in those offices,” she told Sunday Newsday when questioned on the need for a female PM and President shortly after delivering the keynote address at a local government workshop at the Hasely Crawford Stadium. The workshop was designed to get more women to contest the upcoming Local Government elections which are due in July."
