The Nation Newspaper "THE TWO-MONTH-OLD David Thompson administration is projecting its annual budget for fiscal year 2008-2009, which begins on April 1, at $3.44 billlion, leaving an overall deficit of close to $680 million.
According to the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure laid in the House of Assembly yesterday, the new Government, which took office following the January 15 general election, is estimating its current revenue for the period at $2.76 billion on an accrual basis."
