SUN St.Kitts & Nevis: "The 2007 Human Rights Report which was yesterday released by the US State Department Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) stated that in St. Kitts/Nevis, “although the government generally respected the human rights of its citizens, problems included poor prison conditions, corruption, and violence against women.”
According to a reliable source, the report is done annually through the US Embassy in Barbados where information is gathered from “open sources”, “NGOs” and government agencies and then analysed by the DRL for “veracities.”"
