Trinidad and Tobago's Newsday "SAN FERNANDO Magistrate Melville Daniel yesterday imposed an unusual form of punishment on a 17-year-old boy who appeared before him charged with possession of marijuana – write an essay on why a person should not smoke marijuana.
The 17-year-old accused, who gave his occupation as a salesman, was also granted bail with a surety in the sum of $20,000 and ordered to submit the essay to the Youth Training Centre (YTC) within a week."
