Antigua Sun: "Amidst an ongoing conflict between a few local contractors and the government, a number of heavy-duty vehicles were removed from the port on Tuesday evening destined for the expansion project at the country’s lone airport.
The vehicles were transported to an enclosed area just around the Shell Beach area.
Some of the local contractors reportedly expressed their displeasure over the decision to allow V. C. Bird International Airport (VCBIA) contractor Andrade Gutierrez to import a number of the sizeable heavy-duty machinery."
