The Nation Newspaper "GOVERNMENT has no intention of holding and deporting Africans stranded here since February.
The visitors, from Ghana and Nigeria, were left stranded after a Ghana Airways charter flight brought them here but did not return to take them back. The flight brought 66 Ghanaians and 30 Nigerians.
Yesterday, Prime Minister David Thompson gave the assurance that the Government was not 'seeking either to incarcerate, or in any other way affect the natural rights' of the visitors."
