The Trinidad Guardian "Homicide detectives were bracing themselves last night for what they said could be a bitter reprisal, in wake of yesterday’s killing of former murder accused and reputed drug dealer Merlin “Cudjoe” Allamby, 40.
It was while comforting the relatives of friends—killed two hours before—that Allamby, of Laventille Road in San Juan, was shot dead by gunmen near Sookia Trace.
Dead also are common-law couple Rosanna Seemungal and Raffick “Puna” Mohammed, 59, of Crystal Creek in Lange Park, Chaguanas.
Bar owner Pradeep Ramnine, 48, of Aranguez Main Road in San Juan, remained warded in critical condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope up to late yesterday."
