SUN St.Kitts & Nevis: "A government minister has scoffed at the theory that suggests there is a distinct link between unemployment and crime in St. Kitts/Nevis.
His comments came in light of the recent upsurge in crime and violence, which brings to date 14 murders for the year.
In an exclusive interview with Nigel Carty, minister of state with responsibility for education, youth affairs, labour, social security, information and technology, he pinpointed that there are job opportunities available for the young people of St. Kitts/Nevis."
