Trinidad and Tobago's newsday AS the country’s murder rate continues to escalate, threatening to exceed 400 before year’s end, National Security Minister Martin Joseph yesterday declared the Government will take steps to reinforce the ranks of the beleaguered Police Service “to the tune of 500 officers per year.”
