The Trinidad Guardian Chief Justice Ivor Archie yesterday emphasised the need to protect witnesses in court cases.
In his first address as Chief Justice, during the ceremonial opening of the law term, Archie spoke of witness protection three times in his hour-long speech in the Convocation Hall, Hall of Justice, Knox Street, Port-of-Spain.
