Newsday A day after five murders were recorded in one night, five more murders have rocked the country between Friday night and yesterday morning. This brings the murder toll to 431 so far for the year. With just over two months left in the year the figure may now even surpass the 450 figure suggested by Opposition Leader Basdeo Panday.
Four of the victims, all male, were killed in a space of six and a half hours. The last was killed yesterday afternoon.
