The Jamaica Gleaner A prominent Montego Bay-based doctor was yesterday granted bail in the sum of $250,000 in the city's Resident Magistrate's Court on a charge of rape.
Dr Garfield Campbell, a 34-year-old family practitioner who operates his private practice from a Corner Lane address in Montego Bay, was jailed at the Montego Freeport lock-up last Saturday after a patient reported that he had sexually assaulted her during an examination.
