More must be done to protect everyone

The Barbados Advocate: "BARBADOS and the Caribbean will make more progress against the “mighty and unprecedented” crime challenge when they view it as more than a legal problem.

Attorney General Deputy Prime Minister Freundel Stuart said there was a need to look beyond its manifestation in the law courts and among lawyers and police to examine its root causes in the society.
Speaking during the opening of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police Inter-Sessional Meeting at Grand Barbados Beach Resort, Stuart said one of the greatest myths in the region was that crime was a legal problem."
