Antigua Sun: "After a little over 10 years in construction, the Mount St. John Medical Centre (MSJMC), a source of bitter controversy between the country’s two main political parties, has now been declared open.
The facility was opened yesterday by Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer who unveiled the ceremonial plaque and joined in the first of a series of ribbon cutting formalities at a ceremony in front of the building’s main entrance. Ribbons were also cut by the Governor-General, Dame Louise Lake-Tack, and Minister of Health John Maginley before guests were invited to a controlled tour of the hospital."
