...Opposition candidate apologises for 'blood will flow' comment

JamaicaObserver.com: "ST JOHN'S, Antigua (CMC) - Antigua Labour Party (ALP) candidate Asot Michael has apologised for offensive comments he said were made 'at the height of provocation'.
During an ALP rally last week, the senior party member told supporters that 'blood will flow' if authorities arrested him or any of his colleagues.

In a written statement on Sunday, Michael said he regretted the comments which drew concern and criticism from the public, including members of his own party."
