Antigua Sun : "A confrontation between the police and members of the Rastafari community was averted on Tuesday as marchers at the annual African Liberation Day event became frustrated that they were being subjected to random searches.
African Liberation Day committee member Khalid Shabazz said the level of police presence at the event has raised concern for some time. He said while the police are there to stem any potential violence, their primary function appeared to have been to ensure that marijuana, which is widely used among the Rasta fraternity, is not openly used."
