WWL "The National Hurricane Center is keeping an eye on a tropical wave currently over the Western Caribbean.
Forecasters say the wave has a 30 to 50 percent chance of developing into a named storm in the next 48 hours.
The Hurricane Center said but conditions are forecast to become a little more favorable for development once the wave moves into the Gulf of Mexico late Saturday or Sunday."
