Kaieteur News: "Doctors at the Georgetown Public Hospital were last night treating a ‘B’ Field, Sophia man who was rushed to the institution at around 22:00 hrs with a gunshot wound to the back of the neck.
The victim, who gave his name as Rudolph Nurse, 34, said that he was walking in the vicinity of Pike Street when a red car drove by.
He alleged that at the same time, he heard an explosion and felt a burning sensation at the back of the neck."
