Radiojamaica.com. "Jamaican dancehall artiste Buju Banton met with gay rights activists in San Francisco for about 40 minutes on Monday to discuss his differences with the Gay and Lesbian community in the wake of cancellations of most of the shows on his tour of the United States.
The group explained that American gays were not singling out Banton whose given name is Mark Myrie, as they advocate for gay tolerance throughout Jamaica, and have also applied pressure on the Jamaican Government and business leaders to effect change that benefit gays across the country."
