Antigua Sun "Leroy King will now have to wait until January next year before his extradition proceedings get underway.
King appeared in the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court yesterday before Chief Magistrate Ivan Walters.
King’s attorney, Dane Hamilton Sr. QC, requested an adjournment as he was not prepared to deal with the matter. Also, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Anthony Armstrong will travel out of the country today and will not be returning before next year, so the matter could not have been slotted to be heard before year’s end."
