Go-Jamaica "Professor Rex Milton Nettleford, a former vice-chancellor at the University of the West Indies has been admitted to a Washington based hospital in the United States.
A source close to the family has confirmed that Professor Nettleford collapsed during a meeting yesterday and was later hospitalized.
The Gleaner Power 106 News has also been informed that his doctors locally are now consulting with medical personnel overseas as to how to proceed with his treatment.
Rex Nettleford is the recipient of Jamaica’s third highest honour, the order of Merit and is a cultural advisor to the prime minister."
