DOCS MAY BE CHARGED

Nation News "TWO DOCTORS could face criminal charges in the death of a patient.

Yesterday, Coroner Faith Marshall-Harris ruled the death of Anthea Burgess as unlawful killing by gross negligence.

Burgess, 30, died on the operating table of ear, nose and throat specialist Dr Dennis Bailey on April 25, 2007, after going to Bailey's Delawere clinic to have a polyp removed from her nose.

Bailey conducted the operation while his assistant Dr Adele Bell undertook the role of anaesthetist, even though she had no specialist training in that field."
