Trinidad Express: "A GUYANESE woman was taken before a Port of Spain magistrate yesterday, charged with receiving a laptop computer belonging to former West Indies star batsman Brian Lara.
Curlis Anderson, 32, of Farouk Trace, El Socorro, appeared before Magistrate Brian Dabideen in the Fourth (A) Court charged with receiving the Sony Vaio computer sometime between October 18 last year and February 9 this year. She was represented by Fareed Ali and was not called upon to plead, as the charge was laid indictably."
