Nation News "WHEN JOHAN BJERKHAMN returns to Barbados from Miami on Friday, he will be charged with manslaughter.
News of this came from Commissioner of Police, Darwin Dottin today as he outlined the events leading up Bjerkhamn’s departure, even as police were waiting to interview him on the circumstances surrounding his son Luke’ death.
Up until Monday, Bjerkhamn was a patient at the Bayview Hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot injury he received to the hand. The injury reportedly ocurred while cleaning a gun at his Leslie Gardens, St Peter residence two Sundays ago. His son Luke was believed to have been accidentally shot in the chest at the same time. Luke, a first form St Michael School pupil, died from his injuries."
