Kaieteur News: "Hafeez Hoosein, a Death Row inmate in the Camp Street jail, is now in solitary confinement. And his detention in solitary is not in keeping with similar punishment meted out to inmates of his calibre. He is being accommodated in the Brick Section which is reserved for those who misbehave in the General Population.
On Monday, prison officials were prompted to conduct a mid-morning search of the condemned man’s cell. Reports out of the prison stated that they found nothing.
However, they returned sometime later, around 17:00 hours, and after almost ripping apart the cell, found a hammer and a chisel in the bathroom used by 11 condemned inmates."
